What a nice day for a "white wedding"! Saturday, August 27th is one special day. My dear friends, Jess and Pat, got married this past weekend in one of my most nostalgic places from back home: her parents back yard. They have a beautiful property in the country with a pond, fire pit, and a back porch, where music can be heard most of the time. Everything about it reminds me of good ol' Southern Illinois. The date of the wedding also happens to be Jess' parents 35th Anniversary and my parents' 39th Anniversary. The wedding was perfect, and I must say, Jess made one of the most beautiful brides I have ever seen!
